MakerVera uses the services below to run the platform. Each receives only the data it needs for the purpose shown.

  • Amazon Web Services

    What it does
    Hosting, the database, sign-in (Cognito) and email delivery (SES).
    Data it receives
    Everything stored in your account, including name, email, bookings, orders and activity.
    Where it is stored
    United States (us-east-2)

  • Stripe

    What it does
    Card payments, subscriptions and refunds.
    Data it receives
    Name, email, billing address and payment details; MakerVera never sees full card numbers.

  • Amplitude

    What it does
    Product analytics. Without your consent it sees only an anonymous device identifier; if you accept analytics cookies it also links activity to your account.

    Data it receives
    An anonymous device identifier and the pages and actions you use; your account identifier if you accept analytics cookies.

  • Canny

    What it does
    The feedback and roadmap board, for signed-in members.
    Only when used
    Data it receives
    Your name, email, profile photo and account creation date, shared when you are signed in.

  • Twilio

    What it does
    Text messages, only when text messages are enabled and you have opted in.
    Only when used
    Data it receives
    Your phone number and the text of the message.
